Listening to a bunch of journalists (who I admire and respect) talking about how podcasts are full of misinformation about health and nutrition.
Absolutely true.
But *the exact same people* spreading these mistruths on podcasts have been doing so in conventional media for years.

This is why so much of the media discussion about ‘ultraprocessed food’ is so dangerous.

Farming *really* needs much better advocates than the ones I have seen interviewed at these protests.

Farming *really* needs much better advocates than the ones I have seen interviewed at these protests.
In my hippy high school, we had:
a) Mandatory volunteering with charities helping the vulnerable.
b) A nursery to grow trees to restore a local rainforest.
c) Even an annual culture & food night to celebrate the founding of the United Nations.
All of this is less wholesome than my Bluesky feed.
