Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

Frost forward Dominique Petrie announces she's done for the season. She was placed on LTIR Thursday (lower body).

Segedi (St. Lawrence University) was a third-round 2025 draft pick by Minnesota and will look to make her PWHL debut, now with Vancouver.
PWHL trade:

Forward Denisa Křížová returns to the Minnesota Frost in a trade with the Vancouver Goldeneyes in exchange for forward Anna Segedi.

Křížová was on the Minnesota's back-to-back championship teams before Vancouver selected her in the Expansion Draft this summer.

Took out the team skipped by the greatest curler in American history, a five-time Olympian and two-time Olympic medalist (gold in 2018, bronze in 2006). Casper earned it, no question. #CurlingRocks
It's over. Team Casper defeats Team Shuster 7-5 to win the U.S. Olympic Trials.

Casper's team will now compete in a final Olympic qualifying event next month with two spots left in Milan.

Shuster's dynasty is over and he misses out what could have been his 6th Games.

Minnesota is already a hub for volleyball. Now, it's getting a pro team.
Many details remain to be worked out, but the yet unnamed franchise will join League One Volleyball Pro (LOVB) for the 2027 season.

Fourteen years ago, I wrote a @NYTSports story about a remarkable Ohio State hoops staffer named Kevin Kuwik, who championed a piece of federal aviation safety legislation after the death of his girlfriend (and more than 40 others) in a plane crash. Also served in Iraq, winning a Bronze Star. 1/
