It's not uncommon for radical political movements to have mutual aid networks. It builds trust and community. Not that Dems are radical or anything.
If I were running the DNC, there would be Democratic Party sponsored food relief banks across the country right now that specifically welcomed anyone regardless of party affiliation.

I find Graham Platner's story about not recognizing the totemkopf believable. Less believable is no one ever said anything.
His glossing over of going to work for blackwater given all his other history is weird. This deserves more explanation as the full story doesn't really make sense.
