I do not think Comet is a good cube card, but it can be a very funny cube card. I just rolled x3 sixes into x4 low rolls for tokens, then untapped and rolled a 5 for lethal.

Haven't played limited on arena in months because of spiderman, so I'm doing a good old bronze to mythic race using the cube. First deck was a 7-2.

Deck is in for Baltimore. Deck probably isn't good but the format sucks, so I went with the choice that at least makes the rounds go fast.
Only regret was booking trip early for Baltimore, otherwise would have just bailed cuz the format is so bad.

The biggest flex in the cube I’m currently building is the sleeves I’m using for the tokens. 😁

This is basically the exact same format we had at PT Final Fantasy. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

IMO this card is pretty messed up. with a card like nova hellkite, but likely good enough to just build a pseudo combo deck where you are just warp + hasting guys to get in attacks for 8 or more damage a hit. Not legendary, you can stack multiples in play. Warp riddler into wild ride plays

Just stop making standard a featured format for high level events. Your current design and ban philosophy is going to make standard a miserable place for high level events where everyone will swarm to the obvious best deck. Go back to modern and pioneer for everything.

Last spicy deck for today, jund biotech sac combo. This plays a lot like a synergy midrange deck, but will instantly kill people in a single turn from 10-20 life. Built off a deck I saw online last week, the deck does a nice job a scratching the combo itch.

Leyline mice is my deck of choice if you want something that can be truly busted. Leyline draws mean you have a deck full of 1 mana draw 2s, as well as some turn 3 kills to boot. Still functional without leyline. If you play this, keep boarding to very minimal amount.

Next, for when you want to ouroboroid but still want a lot of interaction we have simic tempo. The package of beastbinder/drowner/tidebinder is really good interaction right now. Imago works great to accelerate ouro pumps, and we get access to some nice 1 mana interaction as well.

First deck up is ouroboroid roots. Of all the decks today, this one has impressed the most. Ouroboroid is the real deal, and roots itself is also pretty well positioned. You don't need a ton of interaction to beat vivi cauldron, just slow it down a bit to let you pop off.

After looking for other replacement dragons, I'd considered going with stingerback terror as a replacement to the maulers. I haven't had a chance to test it yet, but could see it being a solid replacement in that slot.

Here's where I'm at after doing some testing with the mono red dragons deck today. Started with the stock list and gradually made some small changes. Feel pretty good with where it's at for now. Details on changes on thoughts on the deck in thread below.

I've been jamming the mono red dragons deck that has recently popped up in standard, and while the deck is doing pretty well, playing taurean mauler is kinda embarrassing.

got another busted pool, but can't decide how to build the deck. Could easily build at least 4 different decks that I would be very happy to have anytime, but very unclear which is the best.

Mana was super scuffed in a straight up 3 color deck with very little fixing, so played the 18th land to make it a bit easier. clean 7-0, but the mana did cause some issues for sure.
