How does Rachel Reeves' idea to get young people into a job, even if they have to be forced to accept one, square with the ILO centenary declaration on securing 'full, productive and freely chosen employment'? UK is a signatory.

For fun: here the two screens for lodging a complaint and the screen when clicking that option.

I cannot add much to this. From a bourgeois nationalist turned democrat to a girl from East Germany, we share this opinion.

I took two pictures of the same dandelion at Gladstone Park in NW London in 2009 that I chanced upon today and put them together as an exercise in depth of field.

Friday evening before the thunderstorm. Drifting into the weekend... I wish you all a nice one.

Is this true? Just asking for a friend.

WTF??? I will have to unsubscribe to my @politico.com newsletters, all of them, if they go through with that. I will NOT EVER waste time on news stories researched and written by EFFING AI.

My inspiration to photograph the tidal swimming pool at St. Malo, Brittany, is this photographer and this particular picture.

Brittany is beautiful. There’s no two ways about it.

Saturday evening in Paris. Straight from a 2022 iPhone SE, no filters (just some straightening) and DEFINITELY #nogenAI. This world is amazing enough for those who can tear themselves away from their screens. Enjoy! Even on a screen. 😘

I am showing a few pictures in the collective exhibition 'Quinzaine de la Photographie' at the Villa Fulbert in Chartres from 14 June - 29 June 2025. Anyone in the area is welcome! :-)

I remember some people talking about this case as supremacist and a precedent favouring white straight men. Just out of interest, since when have women (black, white, CIS, LGBTIQ+) been "members of groups that historically have not faced discrimination"? 🤔

For once, we were told in advance what the lights on the Eiffel Tower would mean. But help me. This was supposed to be blue-red for the colours of PSG. Except if you are ‘behind’ the Eiffel Tower (a whole new idea since the Paris Olympics).

PSG just won the Champions League quite convincingly. And Paris is as one.

Evidently, that's a lifetime licence for MS Office '2019'. Which will stop being supported in how many years? One? Two? We are in 2025, aren't we? 🤔

I used to work for the EORPA seminars organised by the University of Strathclyde: a highlight in my interpreting calendar for the trip to Ross Priory, for the intellectual stimulus and for the pictures. 🤗

Instagram suggests I follow my dear friend of many years from London who passed away quite a while ago. 🫣

Fire in Paris, close to Montparnasse, right now.

All you in France, any idea whether the normal UPS route to Paris from Roissy CDG airport really goes via Nantes?

I wonder about EU FoM and Green Deal given such prices for rail travel for the extended weekend before Easter. That's one adult and one senior (same price as adultbother?) for under 900 km of journey. Flixbus outbound only without extras. Should we rent a car?

Dear @washingtonpost.com, I applaud the pithy message on your resubscription offer but would like to remind you that facts unfortunately do seem to change when owners set the editorial line.
