It may sound stupid but to those who want their writing to be attributed to them and not AI, use pen and paper. Assuming that if you just wanted to copy AI slop, you wouldn't bother to sit down and copy it in long-hand. 🤭

Robert Badinter's entrance into the Pantheon tonight. Advocate for the abolition of the death penalty who succeeded in getting it officially abolished. I like how the French came up with a way to 'canonise' their most deserving citizens in a secular way.

I'm stumped at migrants being 'forced to volunteer in their communities', as I heard it put today on the radio, to qualify for indefinite leave to remain under Labour plans. Does anyone else cringe at the clash of mutually exclusive concepts being expressed here?

Question: is it okay for a news speaker to say the suspect of Charlie Kirk's assassination has been 'caught' when everything we heard on the preceding programme maintained that the suspect gave himself up? That's how misinformation starts.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social Maybe the message of withdrawing from Eurovision isn't clear but we should also look at the message of simply nodding Isreal along, no matter what happens there. That is a message, too, and one I don't support.
