I'm very worried about 'civilisation erasure'....what ever tf that means...doesn't sound good.....maybe we need a MEGA movement to make things more civilised??

Governments are strapped for cash (unless rich with oil or similar. They generally spend a fortune on debt already. Demographics are working against them. Public services are struggling. National rulers cannot challenge international super rich elites who have the wealth. Discuss.

The UK taxes income (wages and salaries) more heavily than wealth (capital gains, dividends, property value increases). Capital gains are generally taxed at lower rates (up to 20% for most assets) compared to the top income tax rate of 45%.
