I don't really care about football and I don't believe a halftime show has much political or social significance. Yes I would applaud a production calling for the dismantling of DHS, but the Superbowl is a capitalist distraction. By itself, it won't help to change anything.

Despite themselves, this administration seems to be somewhat embracing DEI policy: now the cops are murdering white people without consequence. Now that's a step toward racial equality.

I remember thinking "things have got to change now" when the Rodney King tape got released. Then all the police were acquitted and after 6 days of riots and the national guard, the army, the marine corps called out to restore order I thought "things have got to change now". How young+dumb I was.

hey Canada: how does the national anthem go? is it "...Our home on native land..."? if not, why not? if you can change all thy sons to all of us then "on" seems a very small change.

Just finished watching all three Lord of the Rings extended cut movies over 3 days at my local cinema. I noticed the really bad guy, the cause of much evil in middle earth, the guy who was all about cruelty and war and wanted to subjugate everyone and wipe out many races from the land, was orange.
