I hate how tall it is!! The YT UI used to fit perfectly into the horizontal bars produced by watching a 16:9 video in fullscreen on a 16:10 screen, and now it’s about twice as tall as those bars! >:(

Lifespan is understandable, I haven’t bothered looking into the details since I don’t have plans to upgrade, but the 8GB VRAM could be problematic in some cases. It’s one of the reasons I was forced to upgrade from my 1070Ti a few years ago, but I was also running NVIDIA Surround on some games.

Lifespan is understandable, I haven’t bothered looking into the details since I don’t have plans to upgrade, but the 8GB VRAM could be problematic in some cases. It’s one of the reasons I was forced to upgrade from my 1070Ti a few years ago, but I was also running NVIDIA Surround on some games.
When I read that, I had to look it up, and it's wild that the RTX5060 is considered "not great" in 2025, given that it gets close to the performance of the RTX3080 that I have. So yeah, maybe it won't run the newest games at 4K@144FPS, but it'll likely run 98% of things at 1440p@60FPS, I expect.
