Wait... it is Sponsors with a big S... so this is _GitHub_ getting access to my information, not anyone who sponsors me. Right that is crazy easy to misinterpret. Sheesh.

Right, so anyone who sponsors me can then stalk or dox me? This seems bad.

"The information you submit such as your Taxpayer Identification Number (e.g., Social Security Number), name, and address will be shared with GitHub Sponsors to help them accurately fulfill their tax and legal obligations."

And just like that I'm skipping Patreon entirely for Github Sponsors, probably. All my open source projects are on there anyway, so it makes sense.

It seems like it also makes for a separate profile with, I hope, posting capabilities. I will read up on this today.

A different example where it seems more evenly matched. Seems Bandcamp just gives me whatever currency the seller has specified though, feels random.

I'll leave mine as private, even if I did back up my data, mostly as I'm lazy. You do make me consider doing the same thing 😅

Right, actually setting up a page now. Regardless if anyone decides to join that, it'll at least be an outlet for all things coding. They do _not_ yet integrate with this platform, which is a shame 🫤 It's the only one I wanted to add 😅

I'll probably aim at publishing it in the new year, why not. 🙃

My wishlist does have a game discounted, and I have no email on in-app notice regarding. I guess they don't actually want to sell PCVR titles, or ever did?

I also looked through the spam folder for this one as I figured it would be recent enough to still be in there in case it got filtered.

Holy schmoley they look fierce, I'm immediately thinking of meeting any of these in Subside, the best swimming I've experienced in VR so far, but currently without too many scary things, except the shark tank...

What did you see in the headset here, just pass-through? I expect that, but would be interesting if it was a 3D reconstruction from a different perspective or similar.

I read "diegetic UI" and that was my wishlist sorted lol.

I've been playing Roadcraft with friends, and it's neat. I'd like to hook up a wheel I have for it, but not at the desk as it's likely too thin as well as having to be removed afterwards. This is where using the Frame or even the Index for a simpit as it were, makes sense, even if the game is flat.

There is this project: github.com/matzman666/O... it's no longer maintained, and not sure if there is a good alternative now. I think it's a driver injector and was doing some in-memory modding... so uh... definitely possible, but outside my own expertise at least.
GitHub - matzman666/OpenVR-InputEmulator: An OpenVR driver that allows to create virtual controllers, emulate controller input, manipulate poses of existing controllers and remap buttons. A client-sid...
