Designing shirts like this is like the 4D chess of art, I swear. AI can imitate style, but it can’t generate file. And file is what I’m hired for. This is a five color screen print. My last two for Mad with Power were only fours I think. The greens here just had to be a flat. I couldn’t cheat them.

I really need a more modern, comprehensive collection of Ayami Kojima’s art. Everyone in the west knows her for her paintings, but she is a prolific ink illustrator as well and a lot of it just isn’t available outside of its original publications. (Side eyes the American release of Greylancer)

Listening to Miku Symphony albums like an addict because while I hate the sound of vocaloids singing, I love sophisticated orchestra arrangements and the TPO. I ignored these for years because of *see above* but one of the non-vocal tracks popped into my rotation, and that was it for me.

Adding to this by by saying these obscenity laws even affected LAW STUDENTS by preventing them from researching sexual assault and rape cases because of the argument led by pro censorship feminists that it can create a "hostile environment"
When they talk about "porn" or "material harmful to minors," they are generally talking about LGBTQ+ content and sex ed. Mentions of puberty or masturbation are positioned as grooming.
It's the same obsession that drove Qanon and Pizzagate, and it's being written into legislation.
