Oh wow, that is amazing and takes me right back! 1984 maybe? I'd have been 6. I wish I was able to get to grips with GDScript as easily as I learned to make text adventures in BASIC.
I think probably *the* game that hooked me was Jet Set Willy. None of us ever completed it 😊

Many fond memories of playing Horace Goes Skiing. Can you remember the other games in that starter pack? Chequered Flag, Survival, possibly a chess game too? I always thought Elite was in it but that could be just a 'proper' game we were given the same Christmas....

So when I'm reviewing an 80 page document on my own desktop I'm going to receive hundreds of emails saying 'Paul Robbins left a comment in xyx' am I. Really? Every time?

I'm a bid writer, and its really nice to see so many tenders and frameworks where the buyer insists on bidders committing to rewilding and/or pollination projects as part of their offer.
Back in the day, it was just greenwashing/PR but its becoming really common now.

Probably not a joke to say that the $3000 per book or whatever it is in the settlement, is probably a lot more than many authors actually earned per book if sold via Amazon...

And of course over a dozen of her books are on the Anthropic list. She's not entitled to a penny as no US registration!

My sister has a #1 Amazon best seller, nearly 20 books released through a 'proper publisher', and last year celebrated selling her 1 millionth book...but could not have done it without her husband working.
