Fascism, at its core, is a foundationally lazy ideology, which seeks out and attracts the angrily idle, who do not themselves want to exert the effort to build a positive society. The fundamental shortcuts are blaming 'others' and assuming you can bark orders to accomplish your vision.
The more I look at the prep and legal reasoning behind invading LA, the more it looks like that the administration wants to seize supreme authoritarian power over the corpse of the republic through force of arms but also doesn’t want to do any actual work to do so. Rather surreal.
