A B’nai B’rith delegation is visiting Germany this week for meetings with officials and opinion shapers. Led by Pres. Robert Spitzer and CEO Dan Mariaschin, and hosted by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the group is discussing key issues relevant to the German-Jewish & German-Israeli relationships.

Last night, NYC elected a mayor in Zohran Mamdani whose record of hostility toward Israel and indifference to anti-Semitism should deeply concern all New Yorkers. His anti-Zionist extremism and dog-whistle anti-Semitism should have disqualified him from the race, not rewarded him with the mayoralty.

30 years ago today, Israeli PM Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated by a domestic extremist. Rabin was a respected statesman, military leader and tireless advocate for peace.

We honor his lifelong commitment to building and defending the State of Israel, and his steadfast dedication to the Jewish people.

#OTD six years ago, a far-right terrorist attempted to storm a synagogue in Halle, Germany, on Yom Kippur—the holiest day of the Jewish calendar.

A wooden door prevented horrific bloodshed inside, but two innocent passersby were tragically murdered.

May the memories of both victims be a blessing.
