Except it wasn’t wildly out of touch. Inflation was improving, albeit at a very slow pace, but otherwise things were in good shape. She’s doing the work of republicans by attacking him instead of focusing on the mess trump is making. She’s one of the people who is afraid of trump.

From Lawrence O'Donnell: SCOTUS heard oral arguments on the Tariffs. The Regime lawyer admitted that Tariffs are taxes that WE THE PEOPLE pay and not the counties and that Congress has the authority to regulate Tariffs not the President. There is a good chance for them to rule against the Tariffs.
