Going to school several counties away and getting a whole new friends group and finding a sense of safety and support has helped her start to unsnarl some of the tangled feelings and signals her brain has been set in. Sometimes it still gets her, as things do with the anxiety and terror but -c-

while that definitely shaped her view of the world, ever since she ran away from home, and was able to distance herself from the things that hurt her, she's been able to start taking a lot of steps to get herself mentally out of the shit. -c-

As for Leenie and Fynn, they're over there in the corner shaking hands over their cPTSD. These are going to be used as plots in later stories so I don't want to spill too much, but Leenie grew up dirt poor, living in a hoarder house, practically raising her three younger sisters and -c-
