Artwork for a book I am writing.
Slowly building up the adventuring party for "The Chosen One"
Two sketches of the mare, Conker, because the artist did a second sketch following feedback. Opinions welcome. Info in #AltText

Had a dream that I paid for an advert for Grandad Pigeon by Paul Gunning and somehow the link went to a new hardback edition of The House at Pooh Corner.
Who can I sue?

Pinch punch ... and pinch myself to be sure I'm not dreaming, already off and running on KDP. 😁
Also had direct sales this morning.
At this rate I might have to start paying tax! 🤣

The Pope's dress was so much better than Camilla's
She looks ridiculous, and that's standing next to the Pope! 😂

I think I massively underestimated this book when I first published it. Nevertheless it sold through a full print run and has had a second.
I really need to read it again.

My idiot dog, Odysseus, won't stay still and the flash gives him demon eyes.
Rest assured he is not possessed by satanic spirits, he's just stoopid and thinks I want his nose in my face.
He means well.

Rain check on getting undressed; It's far too cold!
Bear in mind, this is an author seeking to publish their book. 🙂
I appreciate people can be dyslexic, it's only an email, I make SO MANY mistakes myself, etc.
I am still going to publish them, but that's why we have editors. 😉

Love my tee shirt for my #birthday, but I had to laugh. Typical of the kind of thing you get when you shop at Temu!
#Editors will spot it first. Description in #AltText for anyone struggling.

I haven't the slightest idea what is going on. Far too complicated for me.
😮😁

It's games night. We're missing a player for DnD but another player has bought a new game.
I hate learning new games. I have barely grasped DnD after ten years of playing.

Somehow crept up another place to sixth.
Yeah, I know it is only a category, but Blue Poppy Publishing isn't even a micropublisher. It's a NANOpublisher. I will take 6th in the contenporary British fiction category and celebrate anyway. #KindleCountdown The Whispering Trees

I am looking forward to a few more reviews and maybe one or two that are not five stars. Having seven, all five-star reviews makes it look like it is only good friends who reviewed it. It usually is, but in this case it isn't.

I love this so much. 😍🥰🤩
You probably already know all about the Ruso series. The covers she's had done since Bloomsbury handed back the rights are the best ones ever.

Just saw this on another SM (creator unknown) and it is bang on.

Normally, you wouldn't want to find a dozen words and phrases you can't understand in a novel. But when the novel is #HistFic set in the fishing community of Brixham you expect it – unless you are a sailor as well.

Just arrived. "The Colours of Greenscombe Wood" bridges the gap between picture books and chapter books. Still plenty of vibrant colour illustrations but a lot more words.

Few people know, early swords were completely blunt, hence the name "cut less", and were mostly used as bludgeoning weapons.
Later, inventors such as Wes Wilkinson, Jean-Paul Gillette, and Hans Bic perfected the art of sharpening the edge to make a cutlass. Although cutting lasses was frowned upon.

Seriously, Tesco, what is the Point?
We're doomed!

Not the final version but I really wanted to share the cover of this book, coming soon.
It's an early reader, 5k word count with about a dozen full colour illustrations.
Theme of inclusion, all colours are important to make up the picture.

Odysseus does in fact have a selection of chew toys and such like. But he does seem to like chewing his own leg on a regular.

In the process of rearranging the furniture a sofa is currently standing on end in the living room.
This doesn't prevent Odysseus from relaxing on it.
