How did a once-great, highly sophisticated nation one of the world’s oldest continuous republics become so vulnerable that a single man’s mental decline could unravel it?

Now we begin the familiar ritual where 95% of the Republicans in Congress claim they are completely unaware of Trump’s deranged letter to the PM of Norway so they are unable to comment on it.

2026 is going to be a very dark year for US foreign policy, where everything that was built over many decades by leaders for collective security is torn apart by one madman, but only because people in his own party remain silent.

NEWSNATION: Wouldn't sending in troops to Minneapolis make a bad thing even worse?

REP. CHUCK FLEISCHMANN: I don't think so. We've seen the deployment of federal troops before as a safety net, as a group that comes in in full support of local and federal law enforcement and peacefulness

Trump's busy: threatening Greenland, flexing on Venezuela & Iran.
Meanwhile, groceries still sky-high, rent crushing families.

It's not just the St. Paul Doubletree.
The Intercontinental in downtown St Paul is also shutting for now.
According to the Pioneer Press, they're both operated by an indigenous tribe, the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe.

FYI, ICE has been arresting Native Americans.

Many people, arrested by ICE, are saying that their watches and phones & other property are being put up for sale.

27 of the people said they tracked their phones to a vending machine that had their phones inside of it.
Others finding their smartwatches in pawn shops & others in small stores.

.
When They're Not Applying Banned Chokeholds, ICE Agents Are Apparently Stealing and Selling Citizens' Phones
ICE agents seemingly believe they can get away with anything, even stealing and selling the phone of a 16-year-old citizen.

New in PN: Trump's long-awaited healthcare "plan" is a joke

"Is it great? No. Is it a plan? Not really. It is, however, in its combination of stupidity, ideological derangement, and unseriousness, a near-perfect expression of Trump and his party."

This is the kind of leadership Democratic governors nationwide should be emulating.
