That’s ok. They’re unlikely to make the playoffs for the duration of his contract

The sad reality is that lots of people are that dumb
November 10, 2025 at 10:00 PM
100%.
November 9, 2025 at 11:57 PM
They’re not clearing the field? That is insanity
November 9, 2025 at 10:29 PM
I piece of chocolate that you accidentally fell asleep on
November 9, 2025 at 8:56 PM
Brad Stuart was a 3rd overall pick
November 9, 2025 at 8:39 PM
Every player over 22 should be available, this team will be closer to the bottom of the league than the playoffs by the end of the year

This loss is on him as much as the defence. 2 separate 2 and outs in the last 3 minutes. They could get a drive or field position and made it easy for Saskatchewan
November 9, 2025 at 2:33 AM
The defence let them down however the offence had 2 separate 2 and outs in the last 3 minutes of the game. You need to find a way to get a drive together to eat the clock. They couldn’t and that’s a big part of the loss

Yes, and that’s why the culture won’t change. It starts with the parents and they have nhl dreams. So much bad behaviour is glossed over because “hockey”
November 9, 2025 at 1:08 AM
The education will help but imo every club and federation should start that education when they’re 10. Lots of hockey boys in my youngest class (gr4) and they majority are already displaying bs culture
November 9, 2025 at 1:04 AM
The problem is that the culture starts when they’re in elementary school. Kids are treated like they’re special because they play hockey.
November 9, 2025 at 12:56 AM
I find it fascinating that people will be sceptical of something you report but at the same time 100% believe some bs from facebook where the source is “trust me bro”
November 8, 2025 at 2:10 AM
So some teams just provide better access, it’s a shame because better access means more interest.
November 7, 2025 at 10:56 PM
Not sure if your position limits your answer but what changed to prevent player access going back to what it was prepandemic. Seems like theyre 1 of the few that keeps players from building 1v1 relationships. Is it as simple as media relations director being a problem or is coming from higher up?
November 7, 2025 at 10:51 PM
In fairness, it was done the minute they came into camp with this group of Cs
November 7, 2025 at 10:08 PM
The “no plan, plan” has been replaced with the “if everything goes right we’re a playoff team, plan”

I think the death march to the end of the season starts in a few weeks, November’s schedule is tough.
November 7, 2025 at 7:34 PM
Ah, thought your % were points percentage per game, my mistake.

86p still seems ambitious but maybe thats cause I came into this season with a high level of pessimism because they are a team with one 2nd lines, one 3rd line, and two 4th lines.
November 7, 2025 at 7:02 PM
=76p. Just once it would be nice to not have typos
November 7, 2025 at 6:42 PM
Wouldn’t that give them 76p?
14p in 15gms,
67gms left,
134 available points x .460,
62p + 14p +76p

Bird has doubts about their ability to go .400 the rest of the way. IMO this is a lotto team to rival the worst of the JB years
November 7, 2025 at 6:41 PM
15 gms in and its time to seriously doubt your model. 86p for the Canucks is ridiculous.

I’ll leave it to you to decide if its ridiculously high or ridiculously low.

A hint is that they only have 3 reg wins so far
November 7, 2025 at 5:08 PM
You think they deserve criticism. Seriously? They’ve only been here for 4yrs and in that time they’ve taken the team from fringe playoff team and turned them into a fringe playoff team. Any criticism at this point would be totally unfair
