Been thinking about my Game of the Year list & decided not to bother with one this year. I just haven’t played enough 2025 releases & many of those I have, haven’t spoken to me at all.

I started a replay of Pillars of Eternity II & had forgotten that the Critical Role cast plays almost all the main roles. I could listen to Ashley Johnson’s narration all day long.
It might also be bad that I can recognise the CR cast’s voices so easily…

It’s such a shame that it took until the last 30 minutes of the whole season for Daredevil: Born Again to become even a shadow of the original 2 seasons.

After having watched Daredevil S1&2 for the first time recently, I’m now really struggling with Born Again, a few episodes in. They’ve made Matt totally unlikeable & it feels like none of his character progression has been brought over from the previous seasons.

I think I might be nearing the end of 1000xResist but honestly, the way the story keeps metaphorically bouncing my head off every surface, I’ve no idea. There could be another 8 hours left, for all I know.

Finally got back to a bit of RE4R. It’ll never be my favourite of the series because of the action focus, but it’s still a damn fun game.

Rewatched The Crazies, haven’t seen it in ages. Aside from Prime Video getting worse with its ads interrupting films way too much, it’s still a fun watch.

Played through the 4th Survivor scenario in Resident Evil 2: The Board Game today. Very tough but lots of fun, only just made it through on the last card!

Every time I make progress & start to enjoy Silksong, it swiftly finds a way to kick my teeth in. It’s so mean spirited compared to Hollow Knight’s fair level of challenge & I’m so close to just giving up on it for good.

Completed the final scenario of the Resident Evil 2 board game & it’s been so good to play, despite a few flaws (which were ironed out for the RE1 game). I’m gutted the expansions are all out of print & basically doubled in price now, though.
