I admit I am a tad obsessed with that recording. It's simultaneously the best and the worst cover song ever. The video haunts me, wondering if Green had been held hostage by drug-fuelled record company execs. But I think he's into it. He's enjoying it. Because it's genius.

That photo was around the midpoint of a walk from Gwithian Towans to Zennor. (We cheated and got a train from Lelant Saltings to St Ives to mitigate the estuary). It nearly killed me. A pint of Coke and beer at the Tinner's Arms never tasted so sweet. With a Somerset Cider Brandy chaser.
