One of their best and funniest. Despite the massive cast, it doesn't show any bloat. A rare instance of the initial themeing surviving to the end. I got hype for Mickey Mouse, which makes this a faithful adaptation of Kingdom Hearts, well done

For as creative and fun as this game is, a lot of its design ranges from irritating to miserable. Chasing Boos sucks. The backtracking sucks. The bosses all suck, except like Chauncey and that's it. The final boss *especially* sucks. But I had fun!

Sadly, it does still feel like we're waiting for the dam to break and for Pokémon to give us a *truly* transcendent video game. But, like... the combat is so much fun. The characters are some of the series's best. The new Megas (mostly) rule. This was an absolute blast.
