Measles is a bellwether. Because it’s the most contagious vaccine-preventable disease, when vaccination rates drop, it’s the first to start spreading.

Now we’ve got mumps rolling up.

Expect more.

This is just the beginning of RFK Jr.’s successful infectious disease reintroduction plan.

Over 80 years of mutual trust, respect & shared dignity are being ripped apart by a morally devoid charlatan & his enablers, who are totally incapable of trust, respect, and shared dignity. The image of *rump’s mask peeling off, only to reveal the face of Putin, should set off all the alarm bells.

A book club member’s son wrote an article describing what it has been like living in Minneapolis for the last few weeks, especially while raising his four year old son who attends one of the many Spanish immersion day care centers in Minneapolis.

This is the second account - the first being in Chicago - of DHS agents mass detaining people and then *sorting them by race*.
More than 400 people, including hundreds of citizens, were “sorted” at gun point into racial and ethnic groups by 200 ICE agents who fired flash-bang grenades into cars with people inside, pointed guns at children & demanded their zip tied parents not comfort them. apple.news/Ausdx6kWtT0e...

Tuesday was the ICE oversight hearing. Today was Pam Bondi’s. I watched them both for you. The bottom line: There are (mostly Democratic) members of Congress who understand how important the moment is & they are standing up and showing courage. open.substack.com/pub/joycevan...

NYC needs lifeguards, and the our cities need mayors like Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani @mayor.nyc.gov.
Summer might be a few months away, but we're already looking for lifeguards to keep our pools and beaches safe for all New Yorkers.

You have until February 28th to sign up to become a city lifeguard for this summer. Go to nyc.gov/parks/lifeguard for more info.

The numbers speak for themselves
A stunning detail the ICE chief shared in this hearing that was supposed to be a brag, except it isn't: ICE has arrested 379,000 people between Jan. 2025-Jan. 2026 -- but only 8,700 were suspected gang members or known suspected terrorists.
