The things I’m learning! Apparently “baking cookies” means opening a tube of cookie dough and squeezing blobs onto an oven tray to some people.

I just assumed everyone did. That anything else wasn’t actually cooking. The responses have been eye-opening.

That’s so weird. I thought all cooking was from base ingredients. So basically if someone opens a packet, pours it onto a plate and heats it up, they have ”cooked a meal”? The cook book industry must be collapsing like crazy!

Not being sarcastic at all, I’m just not American. What does cooking “from scratch” mean? Isn’t all cooking done from the base ingredients? Or Is it common in The US to (for example) open a can of soup and say “I made soup!”?

I’m watching it. It’s every bit as boring as the lead up. Will he choose the woman who is so strangely enthusiastic she’d send any normal guy running? Or will it be the woman who looks so disinterested she’d send any normal guy running?
