Oh, really. You're writing a book, you say? Me, too! You're doing research, you say. Me, too! You know what I rely on to find primary sources and "piece them together"? My own brain. You know who "looks things up for me"? Me, that's who. You know who writes it, from beginning to end? Me.
And I'm using it for work. I use it not writing my columns or my podcast, but for research. I am writing a book right now, and so I am constantly using AI to look things up for me, to help me sort of piece together various primary sources. We could talk about any of that in more detail, but that's sort of how I'm using AI just today, for example.
