These vehicles pose significantly greater safety risks, with children *eight times* more likely to die if struck by an SUV and cyclists suffering much more severe injuries

Market St, Edinburgh. Right outside the busy Waverley station entrance

No one drives a vehicle like this in “the wilderness” - not even in America

For example, the Gardeners Crescent junction could easily have been a roundabout with protected lanes - giving true priority to walking and cycling

Cyclists should stay in the bike lane

Another cracking bike-bus this morning. So good for the kids to get out after yesterday’s biblical rain ☔️

Big thanks to PC Bowden for accompanying the crowd 👮🏻‍♂️

Long nights road “safety”:

Cyclists: dress up in head-to-toe hiviz to look like a clown

Drivers: Sucker a 14” tablet to your ratty Corsa windscreen, right in the driver’s view

Safety is a “shared responsibility” 😡

Enforcement? @policescotland.bsky.social

It’s almost like cities weren’t meant for cars. Time for the council to stop accommodating them

Leamington Tce closed at the top, for the nth gazillionth time, for repairs to the giant holes that have there for decades 😳

No need for through-traffic there, why not leave it closed? The 🌍 hasn’t ended, every time it has been shut!

Passable by bike and foot

One of the best things about living in Scotland is you’re never more than a bike ride away from the sea
