Hoping for a sustainable & affordable future
You & Dave have built a really good show Jo with the quality of guests setting it apart. I can no longer watch shows like 730 with guests who just run lines and refuse to engage honestly, unlike say Doug Cameron today who represents an ALP I once voted for. Hope to see #SundayShot back in 2026.

How is continuing Scomo's $368 Billion+ AUKUS that binds us to Führer Trump w/o any hope of getting any subs responsible? How is giving away $212 Billion of gas to Woodside while making Australians pay all the cost of climate disasters responsible? You are smarter than this Jim ... #auspol

Watching the list of guests at the end giving their take on 2025 shows that no other show has the calibre of smart, knowledgeable and funny guests that #SundayShot has. I'm happy to keep my $20/mth donation going in the hope you'll be back next year. Kudos to you too Jo for being such a good MC! 🙂

Jesus - from the Boris Johnson/Trump school of let them all die off. I vaguely recall being upset with him over his assertions that you can't just tax the rich as they are powerful and will fight back, but having just seen ALP capitulate over Super changes I don't know what to believe any more.

Didn't know much about him before that interview AB - what did he say during Covid?

It's the golden age for independent media reporting on scams carried out by our ruling class! I naively thought the establishment of the NACC might reduce the amount of material you have to work with but as NACC & Brereton story shows it's quite the opposite 🫤
December 14, 2025 at 2:53 AM
Good to see ALP celebrating the first ALP leader who decided that sucking up to power rather than fighting it on behalf of the powerless was the way to go. Kim left a legacy of weak, lazy, 'ruddy-faced' leadership that Albo took on board and has now perfected ...

Good article by Amy about the abusive Jobseeker system but it's really just part of the trend of the Haves exploiting the Have-nots that now prevails in Australia. If you have skills & exp. it's probably a good time to look overseas - exploitable workers seem to be the only ones in demand here ...
December 13, 2025 at 11:22 AM
It's worked out so well that it seems the only 'crime' you can be sent to jail for is telling the truth (whistleblowing) while members of bikie gangs provide security for government agencies. Meanwhile the only allegations of corruption we've heard from the NACC pertain to the chairman. Sigh ...

$7.2 Billion over 4 years is not much when you consider $15 Billion in fossil-fuel subsidies is given away every year. I guess this minor increase in renewable storage won't stop millions of donations from fossil-fuel industry continuing to flood into ALP coffers as you prioritise gas etc?
December 13, 2025 at 6:31 AM
Whenever I see Marles selling out Australia he always has that stupid goofy smile on his face ... 🫤
December 13, 2025 at 4:40 AM
Should be a good show with both yourself and Zoe on. I am wondering if you see any signs of a growing movement on the Left as the ALP become a conservative Party that prioritises the 'Haves' over the 'Have-nots'? Maybe Unions could form the basis of a Party that actually represents workers?
December 13, 2025 at 4:20 AM
Rupert thought it was good - I guess that's all that counts ...
December 12, 2025 at 12:07 AM
There are more 'bribes' to come are there? I guess that's easier than properly funding higher education ...
December 11, 2025 at 11:15 AM
And overshadowing all this is the ALP's continued expansion of fossil-fuels that cook our planet and help to destroy a liveable future for the next generations. ALP seem to be just as crooked as the thoroughly rotten LNP under Scomo ...

Great lineup Jo!

She doesn't have to keep a diary Jommy??
December 8, 2025 at 11:48 PM
I'm more interested in the present ALP and why your deputy is selling us out to Führer Trump and his increasingly criminal regime via the $368+ Billion AUKUS farce? When factional warlords like Marles & Albo run the ALP then this is the result - nothing but selling us out for donations #auspol
December 8, 2025 at 11:44 PM
Well if Australians keep voting for them then who is actually gullible?
December 8, 2025 at 11:29 PM
Because like your 2 Parties our 2 largest Parties (ALP & LNP) have been captured by corporate donors (including the defence industry). Fortunately we have plenty of other voting options here, and with the 'duopoly' vote falling hope still remains that a more representative govt. will be elected.
December 8, 2025 at 11:25 PM
Who cares about the ALP/LNP duopoly fighting over fossil-fuel donations - Teals, Greens & Indies support a rapid shift to cheap renewables and will finally tax the fossil-fuel industry that you let exploit us. Oz is 2nd biggest gas producer in the world yet we have expensive gas & shortages ...
December 8, 2025 at 6:09 AM
Power bills are going up Chris because ALP allow most of our gas to be given away to countries like Japan, who re-export and make all the profits. This a clear betrayal, especially as Australians pay ALL the cost of climate disasters (like now in NSW & Tas) while the industry pay NOTHING #auspol
December 8, 2025 at 6:00 AM
Doesn't Barnaby cut a striking figure - looks like he's been on the Turps for the last couple of weeks ...
December 8, 2025 at 5:34 AM
Honestly this is traitorous - the sort of stuff you'd expect from crooks like Trump or Hungary's Orban ...
December 8, 2025 at 5:30 AM
Don't care about this "living in the past" ALP staffer - what I want to know is why you are selling us out to the fossil-fuel industry while making Australians pay ALL the cost of climate disasters caused by them, like in NSW & Tas at present. Albo more & more resembles Scomo ... #auspol
