$7.2 Billion over 4 years is not much when you consider $15 Billion in fossil-fuel subsidies is given away every year. I guess this minor increase in renewable storage won't stop millions of donations from fossil-fuel industry continuing to flood into ALP coffers as you prioritise gas etc?

I'm more interested in the present ALP and why your deputy is selling us out to Führer Trump and his increasingly criminal regime via the $368+ Billion AUKUS farce? When factional warlords like Marles & Albo run the ALP then this is the result - nothing but selling us out for donations #auspol

Power bills are going up Chris because ALP allow most of our gas to be given away to countries like Japan, who re-export and make all the profits. This a clear betrayal, especially as Australians pay ALL the cost of climate disasters (like now in NSW & Tas) while the industry pay NOTHING #auspol

Don't care about this "living in the past" ALP staffer - what I want to know is why you are selling us out to the fossil-fuel industry while making Australians pay ALL the cost of climate disasters caused by them, like in NSW & Tas at present. Albo more & more resembles Scomo ... #auspol

Did you know students are generally quite smart ALP? If you "bribe" them with taxpayer money, while treating them as a "cash-cow" that leave them with life-long debts, they will probably grasp that you are selling them out. Students are good with graphs too, so here's one to finish with 🙂 #auspol

Well how about giving us your alternative then David - you are in a Party that would like to form government at some stage aren't you? I still haven't seen a better alternative than what former submariner and Senator Rex Patrick came up with: #AUKUS
November 18, 2025 at 12:50 AM
Australians are not seeing any benefit as their power prices go up because your ALP prioritise expensive gas (which sets price) ahead of cheap renewables. You choose not to rollout large-scale battery storage for cheap solar and Australians pay the price - up to 20-fold diff. in my case! #auspol
November 4, 2025 at 2:52 AM
I don't listen to this 'factional' stuff inside the ALP/LNP duopoly Chris. I just compare ALP's prioritisation of expensive gas against that of the Opposition Greens/Teals/Indies/Left who are pushing for a rapid shift to ultra-cheap renewables (my solar exports at 1.5c/kWh - see below) #auspol
October 12, 2025 at 2:55 AM
Thx to Vic Govt I got a loan to install a battery for my solar. However as power price & grid (supply) charges have spiked while feed-in-tariff slumped I'm now paying to export. So price signal from ALP is those with batteries should disconnect from grid as our solar is no longer wanted? /2 #auspol

FYI most first-world countries (apart from US) have good public health systems but most don't allow their resources to be given away for free. Here's how a resource-rich country taxes resources - rather than taxing students like Australia - to fund public health care: #auspol #SoldOutByALP
October 12, 2025 at 2:08 AM
You can't quite see the 'gormlessness' in that image Ronni - here's Marles at his gormless best, promising even more Australian money & sovereignty to a US govt. that is rapidly turning into a dictatorship. I should post this image to the Wikipedia entry for 'useful idiot' ...

Here's another Service Aust. scam FYI Penny - why are Centrelink withholding Payment Summaries? It is getting close to 2 months after EOFY and I have heard NOTHING on what is happening! Local ALP member has also not responded. Help! #Centrelink #auspol

Looking forward to see how Renee sustains in her belief in education as a 'great equaliser in an unequal world' while being a member of the ALP, a Party who now regard education as nothing more than a 'cash-cow'. Renee may soon discover that Albo is just as transactional as Trump ... #auspol

Speaking of tax it is almost a month on from EFY and Services Australia still haven't provided me a payment summary, meaning my tax return remains in limbo. Why is this agency so incompetent Barbara?
July 29, 2025 at 1:26 PM
You will spend $2.4 Billion in total on this scheme - let's compare that amount with what is given away EVERY YEAR in fossil-fuel subsidies. Does ALP think small amount of good cancels out large amount of bad? Listen to Albo Chris - ALP is about 'gas-powered recovery' not renewables #auspol
July 28, 2025 at 2:08 AM
If it is such a great scheme why are you only spending $2.4 Billion in total on it @chrisbowenmp.bsky.social? Let's compare that with the $15 Billion given in fossil-fuel subsidies EACH YEAR - shows this is just a sideshow when fossil-fuels are the main game for ALP: #climate #auspol
July 25, 2025 at 3:14 AM
Electricity prices are going, insurance is going up, rents are going up, and getting educated still leaves a lifetime of debt. If you are looking for work ALP will keep you far below the poverty line while letting private employment providers exploit you. No future in OZ any more Jim ... #auspol
July 22, 2025 at 1:34 AM
I have a battery but here's my latest rates: supply charge has doubled and solar tariff is down to 1.5c/kWh. My retailer says that 'solar rates will remain low until OZ has better infrastructure to store & shift that energy' yet your lazy ALP pushes expensive gas. A real betrayal ... #auspol

Thx Ronnie. FYI here are other major donors of Advance:
July 16, 2025 at 2:07 AM
Just think about how many batteries Australians could install if you invested say $15 Billion rather than only ~$2 Billion in this scheme. And the money is easy to find too - just stop giving it this amount away every year as fossil-fuel subsidies! #auspol #climate
July 6, 2025 at 2:44 PM
Wow, $1.8 Billion! That's almost one-eighth the amount you give away in fossil-fuel subsidies every year, subsidies that worsen the climate disasters which increasingly ruin the health of Australians. It's like you give little bits here & there to make us think you actually give a shit ... #auspol
July 3, 2025 at 11:55 AM
Aren't power prices set by the highest-cost fuel, namely gas? Doesn't your ALP let most of this get exported tax-free while refusing to reserve any for us? Didn't Japan re-export more gas last year than we consumed? It's clear whose side you are on Chris, and it's certainly not ours ... #auspol
June 18, 2025 at 9:52 AM
So maybe start proposing what to do instead David? We can see that Scomo's AUKUS is a dud, but what do Greens intend to do to ensure we have sufficient defence capability? Is Rex Patrick's alternative similar to what Greens would be proposing? #auspol
June 16, 2025 at 1:34 AM
Not sure exactly what amount of donations Gaming industry pay but probably along the lines of what fossil-fuel industry in order to export most of our gas tax-free ie. very little
June 15, 2025 at 3:41 AM
I'm sure Murray has spoken already with ALP alumni. Below is a bit old so need to add in Joel Fitzgibbon and more recent ALP retirees - I'm sure others can help fill in the gaps! #auspol #ClimateCriminals
