Chilchuck: It just... feels nasty! Laios, irritated: FEELINGS...!? Laios, pensive: Feelings, huh? A different scene from the same chapter, while Laios is preparing a meal and explains to Chilchuck that the seaweed that is on the fish-man's head isn't actually part of the monster. Laois: It has roots, but they're just for stability. It doesn't absorb nutrients through them. The fish-men use it for camouflage. Without it, they'd probably look more like fish. Laois, staring at Chilchuck: Is that still not okay with your "feelings"? Chilchuck, internally: Agh. This is gonna be a pain.
