That should get filtered out by the County recorder hopefully before it makes it into any reports. Seen some corkers for Upton Warren in the past. Don’t envy county recorders having to go through this stuff !

Better than any photo! My first Grey Phalarope at Tring Reservoir couple of days after the big storm in 1987 is a stand out (and the letter from the county recorder after correcting me cause I thought it was a Red Necked phal - a letter 😂)

In the excellent book by Dr Mike Foster on the History of Place names in Worcestershire, Timberhonger refers to ‘the hanging wood of large Trees’ although mainly fields now. There are a few small woodlands on the ridge which are presumably too steep to be farmed & must be quite ancient as a result
