No matter our beliefs, Jesus’ message of opening our hearts to those who are different from us has never felt more important than this Christmas.

I want to wish everyone celebrating in London and around the world a very Merry Christmas.

Connection at St Martin-in-the-Fields is offering beds and pathways to long-term support in partnership with Westminster City Council, helping people off the streets for good.

Proud to stand with the @jewishlabour.bsky.social at their Chanukah celebration. As we reflect on the Festival of Light, our thoughts are with those affected by the hateful events in Sydney. In the face of antisemitism, we reaffirm our commitment to solidarity, hope and light over darkness.

I cannot in all good conscience, support the current Resident Doctors strike. If only other professional services had received a 23% pay rise - like the Porters, Technicians, Med Secretaries and Nurses, all of whom the Doctors couldn’t do their jobs without them. Greedy. #r4today

It’s been 44 years since the first cases of HIV, and I’ve lost too many friends over those intervening years.

A massive thanks to the campaigners, charities & researchers for all they do.
