The teacher recommended a Neal Patrick Harris number from Doctor Horrible's Sing Along Blog. My kid doesn't think of it as a miscast at all, but likes the song and loves performing, so they are going along with it, but they cried when they conveyed the conversation that led to the recommendation.

Nothing binary made sense. Inspired by Cole Escola's burlesque interpretation of "Iowa Stubborn," my kid asked to perform "There She Is/Loading Inventory/The Largest Moving Object" from Titanic A New Musical, but that idea was sunk.

I think we should shut down computer science departments, and every professor should be required to teach basic coding in a 1st year humanities course. That's what we do with writing and research already, right?

The cool part about The Onion in print is people leave them around coffee shops and workplaces. Kids steal them and bring them to school. People love this shit, which makes the staff happy, which makes the paper better, which makes business better. We consult no algorithm. We just make fun of jerks.
