Gruev ball in Bijol wins but cant turn it goal ward. 96' ball through misses everyone, Gudmonsson tries to buy a penalty. 99' looks almost over here but a good performance and a lot of fight. Gruev doing a lot right, Ampadu improved. Tanaka immense, Nmecha great work rate, even perri got a good save

strangely quite proud of a few players there, Gnonto and James defending well and doing the work they always did but that Farke never acknowledged. Peri with two good saves will build confidence but the matter of fact is that City are absolutley superior in every way. seen some through ball success

I have a feeling the decision is made and they will wait until before Brentford. Mind, if he gets a few points either today, Chelsea or Liverpool, including changing the system then he may have earned his place

All in all that's as positive as I can write it but I entirely expect a bit of a spanking, Aaronson to start, four at the back and perhaps we get to see Gruev for a bit. Anything less than a three nil drubbing will do. #MOT

We need a performance like our 2-1 win over them under Bielsa, or Farke's Norwich victory against a Guardiola side. Earning points now is vital; a tough run of games follows this, making this a must-not-lose fixture for our confidence and league standing.
