🦫Research on Britain’s beavers gave us lots to chew on at #BES2025

We heard from two ecologists at @stir.ac.uk about their research looking at how land use impacts beaver behaviour and an overlooked nature-based solution these recovering rodents could be providing.

beaver bombingってちょっと可愛い響きだと思ったけど、違法放流が増えてるのか。

notionにあるビーバーの写真（フリー素材）を見たら、ヌートリアに見えるものが多い。
「野生のビーバーの顔付きが怖い」って言う人もたまにいるけど、ヌートリアと間違えてるんじゃないかな…と思うことがある。
たしかに、動物園で見るビーバーよりは野生のビーバーのほうが迫力はあるとは思うけれど。
