Plot twist... In storyboarding the plot for my RPG, I've come across an annoying plot hole which I have been unable to resolve in the last 3 hours. I should leave it for a few days and come back to it, inspiration may come from a day in the sun, who knows.

RPG Battle system has been the hardest part for me to figure out. I'm getting there and am coming to a point of happiness with the "layered field zones" concept. Just need to add some kind of control over geometric elements, then I'll be happy

#rpgmaker Finally settled on the World Map woncept. It will be layered and traversable. I took some early inspiration from the Shin Megami Tensei series for the scale, but my own twist will be in the layers and dimensional properties of viewing and travelling. Also... you can lose the map

with the more games i make, the more i realize that to actually successfully finish a game you must kill the idea guy in your head.
when you set out making your game, sure, you listen to the idea guy that lives in your brain, but at some point in development he must die so that the game can live 👍
