I haven’t updated YouTube on my old phone for like a year (auto updates off and I don’t use it enough to go out of my way to do it, not because I can’t) and the app finally cut me off and made me update lol
There is a pop up box over my YouTube home page. It says: Update Required You must update to continue. It then gives two options: Quit, Update

hot tip for saving money on clothes: like hot pink (it goes on clearance very frequently)
The pants unfortunately had two other points against them though (too thin, no pockets)
