I want it.

But now I’m realizing I might really want a Beaker tattoo.

I can’t believe that was 12 years ago! I remember this!

Kinda regretting reading this right after I popped a gummy and pulled up the blankets for one more pre-sleepies doomscroll. 😬

They were both teachers so kids would bring them in for them all the time- especially for my mom. Between that and all the church/choir/girls scouts/groups- it was everywhere. Like a bad MLM that tasted good till you got sick of it. 🤣🤣🤣

Yes!! we had both going at once for a while and I remember thinking it was like a chain letter and terrible luck would befall the family and our descendants if we didn’t keep it going till dad “accidentally” (on purposely) knocked one into the garbage. 🤣 and then explained we didn’t HAVE to do it.

Omg I grew up in Amish country and we always had one of those things going. And then everyone would get sick of it and it would get chucked until someone would share a starter a few months later and lather-rinse-repeat.

The “oh no” is for the eleventy billion times he’ll sing it in the next 20 minutes. 🤣

I was totally loving it when they did this stuff!
December 11, 2025 at 8:26 PM
I distinctly remember when T learned that and he wouldn’t even get to the end of the phrase… he’d sing that part and that just start cackling. Which I remember both fondly and also with the “omg please stop” feelings. 🤣

Ohhhhh nooooooo. 🤣🤣🤣

So I’ll call the answering service tomorrow, and then maybe I’ll get a call back from the perpetually annoyed sounding tech, but not the vet. And it will lack all the crucial info so I’ll be told “they’ll have her call” and she won’t and ….lather rinse repeat.

I super duper love the part of pet parenting where you’re trying to get them to do a basic life preserving action like eating/drinking/peeing and they’re like “nah.”

So fun. 🙃

Yeah this is mostly happening in car too (at least in our family) because we’re not total monsters. 🤣

Maybe it took the kiddo a little bit to learn that. And her dad a bit to realize he had an absorbent little brain behind him with nothing to do except watch his every move from 5:30-6 each day.

I do not like driving with her now. She’s calmed down but she’s not super patient which is funny cuz she’s also pretty anxious. We let her drive down from Maine to Mass while we were on vacation and I saw our lives flash before us a few times. 🙃

I really loved it when she yelled it with the window open at the older lady crossing the street. Luckily she was about 3 or 4 so probably wasn’t clear to the lady in the crosswalk but omg I think I burned a hole in my husband’s head with the death glare. 🤣
