If the proteomics community gets excited about how many more thousand proteins a new instrument can ID then we only have ourselves to blame when manufacturers prioritise sensitivity over robustness

A person using chatgpt will never get better at the activity than they were the day before they started using it.

It really is. They seem to think it's just a fun power game to appeal to bigots and aggravate progressives, but it has devastating consequences for real people.
