I hope not - we're building lots more wind and solar, and plenty of storage to back them up. Plus some nuclear which will take many more years. We're reducing but not ending wood burning at Drax. So we should still use less gas even with an AI splurge on top of electrifying transport and heating.

The rest of it is a bit lacklustre really. Minimum wage rise is good. Ending the cuts to fuel duty is good, if they go ahead. Otherwise it's all pretty steady as she goes. Will need more taxes and investment than this, surely? Mansion tax is good but tiny. Devolved tourist tax is good.
