Great bounce-back win on the road after chucking it away on Saturday. 6/7 is still pretty good….

Yeah, lots of desperate folks in the test centre, many Brits unprepared for B1 but knowing that they have zero chance when it goes to B2 next year.

Also spoke to a Moroccan guy, said the requirements are getting stricter every year as the French gov are doing their own immigration crackdown 🫤

The bit I went through was slow but ok, no roadworks. Just the connecting road from the motorway into town

Arrived back just in time for kids pick-up. No sign of dog-related toilet issues 😆

Apart from the issues with PC & headphones, all went well. Definitely got a few listening comprehension wrong but the oral itself went pretty well - hopefully met the B1 threshold, should know in a week 🤞🏼

£148k tax for a £1.2m home, £93k ISA plus whatever other assets? So about 10%. Seems like a bargain to me.

The probate situation does sound a bit counter-productive though. Is there no way to pay it through the liquidation of assets (property) in the estate?

No, mostly in normal trail shoes. I have some Salomons with metal studs for when it’s slippy (not v comfortable) and if it’s really icy some mini crampons that go over my trainers.

I should have worn the Salomons today; the fresh snow had been compacted for 3 days and was really slippy

Even though this won’t change minds of the diehards, I think it’s still important to publicise vocally who he is.

The more widely known this stuff is, the less cover there is for soft Reformers to plead ignorance. Hopefully it will shame some into considering different options.

Super annoying, used to love The Smiths & Morrissey but can’t listen to him now

Well, if it weren’t for people like you *being a woman* and *making girls* the misogynists wouldn’t have anything to get angry about, so…..

The Thermie DOES NOT like a loose whisk when you’re mashing!

Begs the question then why she joined the Labour Party? There are much more natural homes for her type of character. That said, Labour do seem to have a fairly significant regressive streak regarding immigration.

Maybe - her tone has changed a lot though; perhaps it’s just easier to have progressive views when you’re in opposition. She definitely seems like she’s been corrupted by power.
