Absolute garbage “overview”
A screenshot of the AI “overview” displayed at the top of a Google search, containing multiple pieces of incorrect and/or inconsistent information. The “overview” reads: The current Pope, Francis, has a degree in pure mathematics. While not directly stating whether it was a pure or applied mathematics degree, the Reddit thread indicates that the previous Pope, Leo XIV (Robert Prevost), had a BS in mathematics from Villanova University, implying a focus on pure mathematics.

A pop-up currently displayed on TikTok for users in the U.S. It has as a header, “Sorry, TikTok isn’t available right now” and has body text reading: “A law banning TikTok has been enacted in the U.S. Unfortunately, that means you can’t use TikTok for now. We are fortunate that President Trump has indicated that he will work with us on a solution to reinstate TikTok once he takes office. Please stay tuned!” There are two buttons at the bottom of the pop-up, reading, “Learn more” and “Close app,” where the latter is in bold font.
