-heavy metals that leach out of pipes and other system components into cooling water
-chemicals put into the cooling water to prevent bacteria from growing
-dissolved solids already present in water that get more concentrated as cooling water evaporates
-sometimes PFAS bc it's everywhere

I use a French press and didn't realize it was difficult to clean up? You just dump the grounds into your compost bin?

Water policy expert here! My one parochial nitpick is that he glosses over the fact that wastewater treatment plants don't remove the pollutants in data center wastewater because they're not designed to, so water pollution is def a concern. Other than that, this overview is pretty good!

Teo I know you and the other folks who haven't left are still doing amazing work. Part of my dilemma here is that there really are no substitutes for the Post. I've been a physical paper home delivery subscriber for over a decade and all the changes are breaking my heart
