Split time between AR and UT. 🇺🇸 Democrat.
And relieving the service JAGs was a necessary preliminary step.

Through 26 years on AD, I never felt compelled to question orders, nor were any that I issued ever challenged. That thought is front of mind of many I’ve spoken with over the past several months. Bad sh*t is coming to the U.S.

Agree completely. He has defaced spaces that were once a place of honor and grace.

Absolutely, and sadly so. The analogy reminds me of one of my favorite shirt designs.

Dr. Daskinakis’ letter underscores the cavalier approach to public health policy decision-making and the long term, potentially catastrophic consequences that will cascade from these actions. This is truly anti-Darwinian.

This sentence stood out, among many that were sadly accurate.

He “proudly” proclaims he’s LDS in his profile. Can he can point to any verse in either of these books where Jesus endorses the inhumane treatment of immigrants (documented or not) or people who are *different?*

Spoiler: he can’t, because the teachings are antithetical to it. I’ve read them both.

Mike Lee’s vision of the future of the five National Parks in his home state…a state in which I live part-time, because of its diverse geologic natural beauty.

This is still their ultimate goal…

Just south of you here in AR, rural health (clinics & small hospitals) are the only healthcare for 60+ miles for a large portion of the population. They’ll cutback services or shutter altogether under this Medicaid cutting scheme. People will suffer & die. Same is true in MO. I recall Rep Grayson:

I felt that way when he proposed the military parade during his 1st term, and with every act he’s taken to align himself with the armed forces that he actively dodged serving in and maligns to folks in private.

He didn’t even earn this medal:

But he has earned this one, very highly regarded award:

I’ve read the exchange several times. Your comments were tempered, while the others’ comments were more heated. You probably weren’t able to see the comment that accompanied the block. Here it is.

Real leadership requires being able to disagree without being disagreeable. You meet that mark.

Is he no longer Speaker? Because, if he is, then it is clearly and unavoidably in his lane.

Typical Trump/RFK jr timing, these 2 reports were included in today’s AMSUS SmartBrief. What could possibly go wrong?

I remember a time when one picture outraged most of the nation. Now, sadly, similar images are cheered by 1/3 of the population, and shrugged off by another 1/3 (or greater). A nation in decline, morally.

They’ve all earned this, though…

Might be a worthwhile excursion, and maybe extend for 3 years, to partner with our tariffed flightless waterfowl friends in opposition to autocracy and economic terrorism.
