You're not for profit, but are you a nonprofit? The orgs I was posting are AFAIK all 501c3 nonprofits under US tax law, approved by the IRS; thus, donations are tax-deductible as allowed by US law. (If you're not, IMO look into it. Paperwork is a hassle, but there's benefits.)
