It's really ironic given Lightning Returns has the most misogynistic rewrite of Lightning as a character extensively for the male gaze.

Also according to the github page, Lunafreya has more lines and words spoken than Zack, Reno, Rude, Reeve, Rufus, Biggs, Wedge, Shinra, Elena, Elmyra, Jessie, Marlene, Scarlet, Shera, Lucrecia do individually in FF7.

Characters like Cindy, Aranea and Iris actually have more on screen presence than Luna does and according to the findings here they have more words and lines spoken, Luna is more important story wise, that has nothing to do with needing more screentime, also she additional screentime post her death.

Suzuki did some sequenced tracks for FFXV and FF7R too but he's mastered his production to the point where the only thing really sounding sequenced is his synthetic percussion, eg Ravus Aeterna in FFXV or Reno battle in 7R. In XVI he did the main arrangement of "Find The Flame" which is why it hits.

Yeah the thing about XVI's OST is that a lot of the tracks were just sequenced tracks made with VST's in a DAW, not orchestral/studio recordings like FFXV or FF7R's OST, that's in part why XVI's production feels low
Even then only the XVI tracks arranged by Yoshitaka Suzuki even hit production wise

XIV does not appeal to Final Fantasy fans, it's made for MMO nuts who don't do anything besides play MMO's, it just so happens XIV has a FF like skin, it's full of pointless fanservice to older FF games to trick people to think it's a real FF game by having literal stuff from actual FF games in it.
