Pretty similar here, except I still like Dread and don't really like Echoes or Corruption. Kinda on the fence with whether I'll even try Prime 4 tbh.

It's already tough for me to justify a $60-70 AAA game that lasts 20 hours vs an indie game that costs $25 (or less) and lasts 200+ hours.

Great sequel to the original. It's not an evolution of the formula as much as a bigger version of the original, but I'm very down for that.
I don't like the story as much as the original, but the art, music, and gameplay are better. Really like the new MP and tarot system.

My silksong strat was to jump to the top of the screen to mid air heal, most bosses don't try to get you up there even if you mistime a bit.
...except Karmelita, swear to god she had uncanny timing with the projectiles to snipe me out of heal.

Yeah, most of the bosses in HK are too simple. There's a few cool ones like Nightmare King Grimm and True Vessel, but that quality is like the average Silksong boss.
I also think healing is pretty busted in HK. I think it's smart how they stealth nerfed it by making you commit to 3 heals.

It is REALLY long and exhausting for a metroidvania. I do like how hollow knight feels breezy and fast paced, much like Super Metroid and SotN.
Silksong is more of an *ordeal*, which is cool by me, but daunting to consider a replay for sure.
