I have NEVER been thankful. I appreciate NOTHING

Me when my parents have a couple glasses of wine and start dropping family lore I've never heard before:
a woman is sitting at a table in front of a door making a surprised face .

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is always such a trip it's like, "This float was constructed from 48,000 pounds of paper and is as tall as 3 Burger Kings. Now here's Jon Secada lipsynching his 1994 hit 'If You Go' with the cast of Sesame Street."

You can't frighten me, I once saw someone eat bacon, egg and cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel.

Although I will never, ever, EVER be sad about the fact that I now have multiple ways to watch MST3K any time I want, I do kinda miss the excitement I used to feel for the annual Turkey Day marathon.

One thing I've learned in my big age is that if someone repeatedly asks you "what's wrong" or "do you want to talk about something" even though you're fine and acting normally, it usually means THEY are upset and want to talk about something with you but are afraid to initiate.

In case anyone else needs this right now: relax your shoulders.

I know the job market is rough right now but don't be a person who literally only reaches out when they need to use one of my connections cause that hurts 😫

Once you decide not to have kids your body should just go "oh okay" and make your periods stop fully. This crap is so annoying at this point in my life.

Don't mind me, just stalking some of the amazing artists I saw yesterday at the Gothic Market and sending them emails telling them how amazing their art is and hoping I don't creep them out because I never know what's normal social behavior and what's not 🤓

If only that bobcat knew that simply strolling through my backyard gave me the most joy anything could possibly give me.

Finally watched Muppets Now and it was cute but there was a disturbing lack of Kermit and Fozzie.

Visited the Gothic Market today and saw lots of cool stuff, bought a gorgeous piece of art, and got a tarot card reading (during which I cried).

Still mad that the series finale of Star Trek Voyager abruptly ended before letting us see the crew actually set foot on earth and greet their loved ones. I needed a Paris father/son hug, Tuvok reuniting with his family, Harry with his parents, everyone meeting Barclay. Wasted potential.

Just remembering the absolute fire cartoons that aired on Nickelodeon back in the 80s.

Excited to report that I've still never been invited to a Friendsgiving.

One of the things I love about having a Kindle is it's allowed me to avoid using reading glasses cause I can just keep making the font bigger.

Never before has a shirt made me chortle so chortley.

I think it's funny when a brand that I unsubscribed from years ago suddenly starts emailing me again as if I won't notice, like an ex checking in to see if I'm still mad.

Always gonna be that New Englander who gets iced coffee when it's 37 degrees out.

A receptionist at the doctor's office was drinking a boxed apple juice and I think that's genius. I can't believe I ever thought those were reserved for just children, now I want one 😢

For some reason, 2 slices of buttered sourdough toast can fix like anything wrong with me: headache, stomachache, nausea, anger, sadness, feeling cold, a little tired, whatever. Instant cure.
