The Rees Scott Archive is the repository for the archive of David Alan Rees and Eileen Ivy Scott and their ancestors. Also houses the Selves One-Name Study.
The key words here are 'new book'. The Author photo is secondary - as either will be fine, obviously!

I'd put them in the library, but that's full!

Inspired me to go virtual mudlarking. bsky.app/profile/barr...
Just finished Lara's book. As well as a diary of finds it acts as an almanack of (mostly) London history. Inspired me to go virtual mudlarking. Had a look at Cumberland Wharf - and may have 'found' a ring! Google link: www.google.com/maps/@51.502...
Anyone else spotted anything on virtual mudlark?

Isn't that an imprint of half a Rolo on the top?

Take photos as you unwrap each bit - you can then follow your photos to wrap it all up again when you've finished!

Great episode. Sorry to hear about your grandmother. Her passing with so many family and loves ones around her must have been a blessing for her.

Its not 'lucky', it's because you are so good at what you do. Make sure you take a break over Christmas!

I'd avoid unless they can provide some credentials.

A search on the Solicitors Regulation Authority, for the UK. No Crest Point Law Firm or Edward Armstrong listed. A couple of website links came up for Crest Point Law Firm - one flagged up as dangerous by my virus system. The other came up with a website, but no details of solicitors / barristers.

I have a situation that I have investigated and never formally written about, nor added any of the publicly available records to that person's tree. A descendant of that individual and I danced around the topic, having come to the same conclusion - and then both agreed, it wasn't our story to tell.

They started in South Wales, and migrated into various parts of England.

Thank you. Yes, Pop was one of the lucky ones. The Gallipoli Association do a great job of keeping the memories going.

I have a number of categories I use, which helps define what I keep, but also to organise them. If you are discarding items, think about whether there is information on them that can help other families with their research.

I have a pile of ancestors with the name Glenmark. I've yet to find out why! #Genealogy

My interest in Gallipoli is based around my Grandfather, Frederick William Henry Rees, who served with the New Zealand Field Artillery at Gallipoli and then the Somme. He survived both and returned to the UK after the war and joined the London Fire Brigade - and worked through the Blitz!
