Local news: If you watch it through, it sounds like the police are referring to this as a “fight.” This wasn’t a fight. It was a race-based attack.

The victim was identified as Keontae. He managed to escape and called his mom from a cornfield an hour away. Thankfully, he did not suffer serious physical injuries, but local leaders say the emotional scars are already heavy—mistrust, fear, and trauma.
