LaVey would have created something far better if he had used his own thoughts and writings instead of taking from Might Is Right.
But there's a reason LaVey did this. I don't think it was laziness. There was something in MIR that resonated and that is hella concerning!

I'm finding it hard to decide if it's ok and reasonable to carve out a version of Satanism that doesn't include the white supremacy & racism that influenced early Satanist leaders & their writings?

So disappointing to see the dramas btwn satanists
When I left christianity I was relieved to be done with the gossiping, backstabbing, & hypocritical policing of behavior
I'm sad to see it exists in the Satanic community too... I guess it's a x-cultural thing. Shouldn't surprise me, but ig it does
